California

With warm weather, abundant sunshine, and long growing seasons, California wines tend to be bold, ripe, and fruit forward.  However, the climate does vary from region to region lending each area it’s own style.  Napa Valley, with its hot sunny weather is famous for producing bold, rich Cabernet Sauvignon.  The Russian River Valley, on the other hand, gets cool ocean breezes at night that produce the perfect environment for more elegant Pinot Noir.
