WHITE WINE

Albarino is grown in the northwestern part of Spain. In terms of body, it produces wines that cover a range similar to Chardonnay. Cooler climates produce wines with restraint, vibrant acidity, and fresh stone fruit flavors. Warmer areas produce richer, fuller-bodied wines with tropical fruit flavors. In Portugal, this varietal is known as Alvarinho and makes the famous Vinho Verde, a light, low alcohol, dry white wine.
